Welcome to Driffield School
Situated in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds, Driffield is an attractive market town surrounded by productive agricultural land. Driffield School, with its outstanding modern facilities, offers education for 11 -19 year old students who live within its large rural catchment area, and increasingly to students from further afield attracted by its reputation and academic excellence.
The school gained Specialist Status in Mathematics and Computing in September 2006 and has been designated a ‘full service’ Extended School since that date. With an expansive 40 acre site Driffield School’s facilities are truly impressive and in continuing development. A new Technology block, ICT block and Performing Arts complex, all built in recent years will be further enhanced by the addition of a new Sports Centre due to open shortly.
Standing at the heart of a thriving and supportive local community, the school has excellent links with local services, voluntary groups and businesses. The school also benefits from a very strong Student Services Team and a well-established Multi-Agency Team. Parents are extremely supportive and we are fortunate in our flourishing School Association.
