Exam Results - 2018

  • Basics measure has improved for the third year running with 63% of our students achieving a pass in both English and maths

  • Over a quarter of students sitting music and drama achieved grades 7 - 9

  • 100% pass rate at A level

  • 85% of students accepted at their first choice university

Y11 (KS4) Exam Results - 2018

  • The school’s Progress 8 score is average (-0.15)
    The school’s Attainment 8 score is 45.9

  • The percentage of pupils who achieved a pass in English and maths at the end of KS4 is 62%

  • The percentage of pupils who achieved a strong pass (Grade 5 or above) in English and maths at the end of KS4 is 35%

  • The percentage of pupils entered for the English Baccalaureate (EBacc) is 38%

  • The percentage of pupils who achieved a strong pass in the English Baccalaureate is 11% and 18% achieved a standard pass

  • 267 students completed Year 11 in 2017/18

  • 37% of students progressed onto Driffield School Sixth Form

  • 55% into Further Education/College

  • 8% into Apprenticeship

  • The school’s value added (-0.06) is average and in the top 40% of Sixth Forms nationally

  • The pass rate in the Sixth Form is 100%

  • Progress in Chemistry, Physics, Maths, Geography and Business is in the top 10-20% nationally

  • More than double the national average of students gain a place at a Russell Group University
