Sixth Form Winter Wonderland Visit

On a cold and wet Wednesday in December, 85 sixth form students headed out to York's pop up Winter wonderland at the designer outlet to enjoy what has become an annual tradition.

After an hour or so of Christmas shopping and a spot of dinner, students braved the weather and booted up. For a solid 5 minutes most of them held onto the side rail for dear life, shuffling forward with looks of terror upon their faces. Gradually however, the brave ones peeled away from the group and found their ice legs. The rink was soon filled with laughing, smiling students who no doubt had aspirations to take on the challenge of Dancing on Ice!

It was agreed on the return journey, in between the Christmas sing-a-long tunes, that despite the weather it had been a brilliant trip, and we would recommend it highly!
