Paper Recycling Team
The scheme is a permanent initiative at the school, and is the first of many initiatives aimed at gaining Eco School status, and making Driffield School one of the first secondary Eco Schools in the country.
It is a good scheme to be involved in for students who study, or wish to study at GCSE or higher:
- Domestic Science
- Technology
- Geography
- Business Studies
- Environmental Studies
It is a superb addition to your Record of Achievement, which will be handed to potential employers or further education courses.
Skills developed include:
- Teamwork
- Management
- Organizational
- Communication
- Environmental Awareness
- Maths
Registering with the team is a long term commitment, and you will be encouraged to stay for the duration of your school career, though an annual review of your involvement is possible, if other commitments become greater.
