First time visitors to Driffield School are often surprised at just how big the site is. We do, in fact, have one of the largest school campuses in the East Riding, extending to nearly 40 acres.
The fabulous new Performing Arts Building is the centre piece of an impressive site boasting a wide variety of sports, music and performing arts facilities from rugby, football and cricket pitches to gymnasia, dance and recording studios. These excellent facilities are available for use by the local community after school, at weekends and during the holidays.
But it doesn’t stop there; the school also has an impressive range of ICT suites to suit every need and the technical support available to ensure learners can make full use of the facilities.
Local groups, both business and private, may be interested in our fully equipped Conference Room and the newly refurbished state-of-the-art Training Room, which are available for use, including during school hours, throughout the year with refreshments and a full catering service if required.
Added to this, we have two large school halls, with stages and refreshment facilities, which are perfect for any large scale music or drama productions.
The community is already here making excellent use of our facilities for events ranging from brass band concerts, football training, cricket matches, yoga classes, car boot sales, Christmas Craft Fayre, senior citizen’s tea, U3A classes and Adult Education courses to church group meetings, bingo nights and a Summer Ball; the list goes on.
Driffield School has an impressive site, with outstanding facilities and plenty of car parking spaces. We would like to welcome the local community through our gates to make full use of the amenities we have to offer.
